No job is too small. Whether the client is a fortune 500 company or a small family owed business or the item to be moved is a 110,000 lbs. press or 2000 lbs. specialty printer, we provide the same level of service, attention to detail and problem solving analysis to every job.
Kehoe Bros. Printing in Cleveland, OH bought a specialty piece of machinery they were not able to position within their facility on their own. The biggest challenge for us was the small work space. The company’s facility is a converted basement in an old house which did not have any room for any of our motorized lifts.
The machine, while only 2,000 lbs., was still too heavy to man handle with sheer brute force. Additionally, the machine needed to pass through two 31” wide doorways to reach its final position within the building.
The design of the base of the machine would not allow us to utilize our industrial skates to push the machine through these narrow spaces. Our solution was to fabricate a custom cart with industrial castors that mirrored the footprint of the machine.
With our millwrighting and problem solving abilities, and equal parts muscle and finesse, we were able to complete the job ahead of schedule.
